Just asking because more and more sites don't install it anymore.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If no local SAS is needed: How does this work if the 2 remote servers have a different OS? &lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;If we're talking about using SAS Enterprise Guide as a conduit between two servers, you can use the Data-&amp;gt;Download Data Set task followed by the Data-&amp;gt;Upload Data Set task.&amp;nbsp; That gets the job done, but isn't necessarily as efficient as a direct SAS-to-SAS connection (using SAS/CONNECT and PROC UPLOAD or DOWNLOAD).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Chris&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
