Can you describe a bit more of what you want. The Log and Results are "separate" by default in general.

Or do you want the Log and other results in the same destination but with the Log between output? If can show what you want as an example text file you are more likely to get a usable answer.

For example does "separate page" for output involve sending results to an ODS destination file?

You can use PROC PRINTTO with the LOG= option to send the log to a specified file.

thank you for your response.

i meant in SAS EG 7.1 -- log and output is not below proc sql query. hard to see entire sql code. it is in separate screen.

i tried Tools -> options - not able to find it

If you're using SAS Enterprise Guide 8.3 (not 7.1), then try the various layouts under the View menu to get the arrangement you want.
