I have searched the internet. I do not see an option to create a SAS EG profile with SAS Server Installed on the AWS Linux environment, which does not have an IP/Port but is running under AWS. It can be accessible through SAS Studio.

Is there any documentation available or video on how to access SAS via SAS EG like SAS Studio? I see many disadvantages in SAS Studio. It is not user friendly like EG.

The SAS Studio Viya version got functionality not available via SAS EG (like Studio Flow). I wouldn't discard this UI to quickly.

If using SAS 9.4 in AWS, the most common way to use EG would be via a virtual desktop also hosted in AWS. Essentially that's what SAS Studio is doing, as it is a web application hosted in AWS along with SAS.

From your local desktop, you would need a host name and port to connect -- and that would require some configuration for an internet access.

If using Viya 4, the EG connection is more straightforward because it's using REST APIs, which are accessed using HTTPS (just like SAS Studio).

I have checked with IT, they said that it is an instance with a Private IP.
