Cannot open a file because this file is used by another resource

Hello,

I am running many SAS code in cascade and I have this error:

ERROR: You cannot open WORK.FICHIER_IBC_CORR.DATA for output access with member-level control because WORK.FICHIER_IBC_CORR.DATA is
in use by you in resource environment IOM ROOT COMP ENV.

How to solve this issue.

Is it related to my SAS EG config.

That message means you, or a program you started, has the file open for something.

The solution is to make sure the file is closed before the step throwing the error.

Why do you think it related to your EG Config? Does that step in your system open data sets and not finish?

This is most commonly caused by having this table open in a View window in EG. Closing the window fixes the problem.

To add to what others already said: Below highlighted EG option is very useful to not step onto your own feet.
