In static list you have enter values into list (below red circulated date). In dynamic list you can select values from the variable which is already existing in data.

Query Builder is not showing the prompt

Hello, I'm using SAS Enterprise Guide 7.1, and this is what I accomplished with Query Builder. I inserted the DATE variable three times to the 'Select Data' tab, then used 'Summary' to find the COUNT, MIN, and MAX of the DATE variable. Everything worked out perfectly.

Now, I would like to use the prompt instead. So, I've created a prompt with DATE as a variable. Again, DATE is the column name and its format is date in my dataset. The issue presently is that the prompt variable isn't listed as an option in the Query Builder. I only see the original dataset columns and not the prompt I created. Do you have any idea why?

Pictures are attached.

Thank you

What values to enter? I wouldn't need the prompt if I already knew the three numbers I needed!

I need to find the minimum, maximum, and count of the DATE variable. Tens of thousands of rows are stored in the table.
