But when I drag the file directly into the SAS EG editor it gets grabled.</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>I understand it might be because SAS EG didn't find the best display encoding correctly. However, as the file tree becomes more complex, the drag-and-drop method can better meet the business needs.</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>We have also configured three encoding servers through SAS Management(Unicode, English, Chinese), but it doesn't seem to control which sas files encoding is used on by default.</P><P>&nbsp;</P><P>Please see the appendix files. When I open the program.sas from SASEG it shows normal as shown in snipshot 1.
