If the workspace server session that EG is trying to start can't do so because WORK cannot be created, have your SAS administrator look into this:

does your user have the necessary WRITE permission in the location configured for WORK?
is there a space issue (disk full, or individual quota of the user exceeded)?

space is ok,WRITE permission is ok.

That particular message happens (sometimes) when you open a code stored on the server when the server session has not yet been established.

Start the workspace server session by clicking on the "+" in the server list, and once the connection is established (Libraries and Home show up), load or submit code.
