    <description>If you create the index on the Oracle side and use pass through SQL it will use the Oracle Index. &lt;BR /&gt;If the data is in an Oracle DB create the indexes in Oracle. Working across DB types is always problematic though.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;One of my colleagues is asking if it is possible to create indexes at another location than the file location.&amp;nbsp; I am not familliar with that at all.&amp;nbsp; What I understand, he would like to create those indexes at the same place reserved for the Oracle table.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Is it possible to provide me an example of to do it. Also, it will be nice to have a good document on that subject.&lt;/P&gt;
