      <description>&lt;P&gt;Once you issue the DATALINES4 statement,&amp;nbsp;&lt;EM&gt;everything&amp;nbsp;&lt;/EM&gt;following will be considered as data (not code) until a line with 4 consecutive semicolons is encountered. The datalines are highlighted in yellow.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;PS a DATALINES statement is always the final statement of a data step, it constitutes a step boundary, so no RUN is needed. The data step starts to run as soon as the finishing semicolon (DATALINES) or 4 semicolons (DATALINES4) is/are encountered.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
