<title>topic Hive Views - Missing Format in SAS Enterprise Guide</title>
    <link>https://communities.sas.com/t5/SAS-Enterprise-Guide/Hive-Views-Missing-Format/m-p/676946#M36744</link>
<description>&lt;P&gt;Hi guys, I am a business analyst in a project in which our engineers created Hive tables and Hive views to be displayed to end users via SAS EG. However, when we ran proc contents for Hive views, the format and informat of variables do not appear, but they do appear consistently in proc contents for target tables. May I know has anyone experienced/ heard of this? Any help or advice is highly appreciated. Thank you.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
