"learn HTML to use with SAS EG to create interactive web based reports."

Interactive web based reports could mean many things? Are you wanting to have a page where someone, who doesn't use SAS or have it installed can run reports? Or are you looking to build reports that another analyst can run that will be HTML? Or are you generating reports where you'd like users to be able to filter and slice and dice the results on their own somehow?

EG is intended more as a analyst tool, not a BI tool. VA, Web Reports do exist as well as stored processes. But there are ways to leverage many other technologies within SAS to do things out of the box.

One of my favourite resources for creating web page code from SAS is the HTML Documentation.

For interactive reports, you besr build with stored processes. To create the necessary dynamic input forms, you also need to study Javascript.
