Amol,

The configuration you refer to requires that EG connect to your Unix server via SAS/Integration Technologies. You configure EG to connect to a metadata server, which then directs EG to your workspace server. The workspace session is launched with a Unix daemon process called an object spawner.

Does any of this sound familiar? The SAS deployment documentation and install process should have guided you through most of this setup.
Hi,
Recently we migrated from SAS on mainframe to SAS on UNIX server. We are using SAS EG on our local system to access SAS on UNIX. Could you please explain what kind of configuration we need to do in SAS EG so that I can access the SAS on UNIX ?

Regards,
