Display the number of records to the user in SAS Enterprise Guide

Hi all,

I'm working with SAS Enterprise Guide 8.1

I'd like to build a small report for the user to get a summary at the end of the program execution.

To make it short, it could just be the number of records and the name of the input table and the number of records in the final table.

Do you know how I could do this.

The macro variable syslast contains the name of the last data set created so you can use that to get the statistics from the sashelp.vtable or sashelp.vcolumn data sets.

This would need to be customized to the report IMO because if you have ten different inputs what would you want to see.
PROC SCAPROC may be worth investigating.
