    <description>&lt;P&gt;Your friend is also using EG?&amp;nbsp; And connecting EG to the same SAS server as you are using?&amp;nbsp; If you are using different SAS servers then there might be differences in how they are setup.&amp;nbsp; Perhaps as simple as different options, like VALIDVARNAME or VALIDMEMNAME.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Can you see the tables if you use SAS code , like PROC CONTENTS, instead of the whatever GUI buttons you were clicking on?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;In SAS EG, I'm running a libname to connect to Teradata, but when I click on the libref under 'libraries', it is empty and I can't view tables. But when I log in to the Teradata via Teradata SQL Asisstant, I can view tables.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;My colleague runs the same libname with his username and password and can view the tables under the libref in SAS. We both have the same roles and access rights in Teradata and SAS.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Here is the libname that I'm running:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;PRE&gt;libname ABCD 	teradata user='user' password="******" tdpid=tera1.home.com schema=ABCD_EFG_HIK;&lt;/PRE&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>Use explicit connection instead of implicit.  Make sure to add filters.</description>
