Protected View is a feature of microsoft office. I don't think it can be influenced through manipulation with SEG. Maybe if you export to .xlsx the behaviour is different?

Hello,
After executing SEG projects, we get excel ".xls" exports that are in protected mode. Has anyone ever encountered this problem or would have an idea of a solution?

I want to disable protected mode for all exports.

Thank you so much.

Have you tried setting the options in excel that disable protected mode/view. File --> Options --> Trust Center --> Protected View & File --> Options --> Trust Center --> File Block Settings. I don't know if that can resolve the issue, but it might.

Thanks for your reply JosvanderVelden. I already tried but with each new export the rule disappears and the file goes into protected mode, I wondered if something could be done on SEG.
