    <description>&lt;P&gt;I am trying to create a prompt for a date range in GUI.&amp;nbsp; I have tried using a filter where date equals in the filter with a Prompt Type of date range.&amp;nbsp; Also, I have tried using a filter with date equals between and having a start_date and an end_date using with a Prompt Type of date .&amp;nbsp; Neither work.&amp;nbsp; What I am missing?&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Are you sure that the value you're filtering on in the dataset is a date, and not a datetime formatted as a date?&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

&lt;P&gt;Sorry you are having trouble with this!&amp;nbsp; I'm not sure exactly what the issue might be, but there is a help topic on creating date range prompts that might be worth checking out.&amp;nbsp;You can find it by clicking Help &amp;gt; SAS Enterprise Guide Help from the main toolbar.&amp;nbsp; Click the Search tab and search for "date range prompt."&amp;nbsp; The topic is called "Creating a date range prompt."&lt;/P&gt;
