I recently migrated from SAS EG 5.1 to SAS EG 7.1. In SAS EG 5.1 I was able to send sas output/sas data to an excel file of my choice. SAS prompted me before sending data to excel and I had to choose where to send: a new file or a file from a list of opened excel files. In SAS EG 7.1 I have no option to send it to a file of my choice. It is always sent to a new file. I am wondering if I can fix it by, say, changing some preferences or options for sas add-in? Thank you!

If you export to Excel instead of using "send to" you get a save-as option.

Thank you Lisa for your reply! I am aware about other ways to send data to excel like proc import or import wizard. I just do not understand why in the upgraded SAS EG version (SAS EG 7.1) the add-in seems has less options. So, I was wondering may be I just need to change its properties to make it works as it worked in SAS EG 5.1.
