      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi All,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am able to login to sas eg but after login it is popping&amp;nbsp; a new window when i try to connect&amp;nbsp; to sasetl server&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;credential required window&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;then after i give all the credentials correctly still i am not able to connect and it will pop new error window&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;please find the below error message&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Connection retry attempted with previously failed login&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;-------------------------- Technical Information Follows --------------------------&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Exception Details:&lt;BR /&gt;----------------------------------------&lt;BR /&gt;Exception type: SAS.EG.SDS.SDSException&lt;BR /&gt;Message: Connection retry attempted with previously failed login&lt;BR /&gt;Source: SAS.EG.SDS.Model&lt;BR /&gt;Target Site: SASWorkspace&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Stack Trace:&lt;BR /&gt;at SAS.EG.SDS.Model.Server.SASWorkspace(Boolean checkWorkspace)&lt;BR /&gt;at SAS.EG.SDS.Views.View.DoPopulate(DisplayOperation&amp;amp; op)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Inner Exception Details:&lt;BR /&gt;----------------------------------------&lt;BR /&gt;Exception type: SAS.EC.Directory.Model.SDSException&lt;BR /&gt;Message: Connection retry attempted with previously failed login&lt;BR /&gt;Source: EC.Directory&lt;BR /&gt;Target Site: Connect&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Inner Exception Details:&lt;BR /&gt;----------------------------------------&lt;BR /&gt;Exception type: System.InvalidOperationException&lt;BR /&gt;Message: Connection retry attempted with previously failed login&lt;BR /&gt;Source: EC.Directory&lt;BR /&gt;Target Site: Connect&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Stack Trace:&lt;BR /&gt;at SAS.EC.Directory.Model.Server.Connect(ConnectionInfo connInfo)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I saw&amp;nbsp; the link&amp;nbsp;&lt;A href="http://support.sas.com/kb/57/382.html" target="_blank"&gt;http://support.sas.com/kb/57/382.html&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;and&amp;nbsp; followed the same steps&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Select&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Start ► All Programs ► SAS ► Utilities ► SAS Integration Technologies Configuration&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Select the&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Test SAS Servers&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;radio button and click&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Next&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Select the&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Enter a SAS server definition manually&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;radio button and then click&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Next&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Under&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Currently Testing&lt;/STRONG&gt;, select&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;SAS Workspace Server&lt;/STRONG&gt;, and under&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Connection Protocol&lt;/STRONG&gt;, select&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;IOM BRIDGE&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Under&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Encryption Level&lt;/STRONG&gt;, select&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Credentials&lt;/STRONG&gt;, and under&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Encryption Algorithm&lt;/STRONG&gt;, select&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;SASProprietary&lt;/STRONG&gt;.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Enter the Service Name or Port Number (the default port number is 8591), and enter the user name and password for the user who is experiencing the problem.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Click&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Test&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/SPAN&gt;and review the log that is created.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;&lt;P&gt;Below is the log .&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x80042002): &amp;lt;connectionAttempts&amp;gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;lt;connectionAttempt&amp;gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&amp;lt;description&amp;gt;Could not establish a connection to the server on the requested machine.
