topic How do you open a SaS Data Set in EG 3.0 ? in SAS Enterprise Guide

Hi Guys,

We're pretty new with SAS and learning the System 9 every day.

I've setup a data library in MC, setup an ODBC to our SQL Server and successfully imported a large table.

Now how do i pull that in EG? I dont see an option of using a Sas Data library from the server? (only local .sas7bdat are available?!)

Thanks!

Hi,

File->Open->From SAS Server/Binder, then select your server (ex: SASMain) and then drill down to your library. You should see the table there, assuming that the library is correctly assigned on the server.

From EG 4, the steps are:
File->Open->Data, then select from SAS Server.
