It looks like your EGOptions.xml file (in C:\Users\<userid>\AppData\Roaming\SAS\EnterpriseGuide\7.1\) got corrupted somehow (perhaps the application process did not end cleanly). Close EG, rename or delete your EGOptions.xml file, then re-start EG.

Note: Your EG options are stored in the EGOptions.xml file, so if you made any changes in EG's Tools->Options, you'll have to re-make those changes to your options if desired.
