It sounds like your company has blocked the software which drives the graphs (probably activex, or flash or something along those lines) which is understandable as they can be a security risk

There is a problem when exporting HTML-output from Enterprise Guide (7.1) to the Windows-desktop and open the output-files in a browser.

For tabular reports there is no problem. You can see the HTML-formatted reports within EG and after exporting also in a browser.

For graph reports it's different. Opening these in Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome results in the message "click for description of ....". When i click, a table returns with the underlying data for the graph, not the graph itself.

Enterprise Guide reacts different: initially also a message, but a different one: "Allow blocked content", when i click this message the graph will be shown.

What can i do, to let show the graphs in another browser?

Try to download and install the necessary drivers manually:

Enterprise Guide creates activex-grahics as default, changing to png should solve the issue.
