You should track this with technical support.  We've seen similar cases and even fixed some in EG 4.1 hotfixes and in EG 4.2.  &lt;BR /&gt;

      <title>Problem with the Excel-import-wizard</title>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;
 &lt;BR /&gt;
the following problem occured  using the import wizard in EG to load an Excel-file with multiple worksheets.&lt;BR /&gt;
 &lt;BR /&gt;
One worksheet consists of two columns with alphanumerical data followed by columns containing numbers (just plain numbers, without any formats). A row with headings does not exist.&lt;BR /&gt;
 &lt;BR /&gt;
The import-wizard seems to  be  unable to read the numbers in the first row and puts null-values in the created data set. From the second row on every cell is correctly read.&lt;BR /&gt;

What can I do?</description>
