&lt;P&gt;Yes, those temporary files can be safely deleted.&amp;nbsp; I'm fairly certain you can delete them immediately after running the Import Wizard, since it appears they are re-created each time.&amp;nbsp; However, to be extra safe, you may want to wait until after you close the EG session, just to make sure the files&amp;nbsp;are no longer in use.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi guys&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;I noticed that when I import some .txt files using the File &amp;gt;&amp;gt; Import&amp;nbsp;with the wizzard, SAS creates some .txt copy's of the files on my C:\Temp folder, something like&amp;nbsp;&lt;SPAN&gt;C:\Temp\SEG4448\8a7b2be766a54265954f93808a329ea8.txt.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN&gt;&amp;nbsp;After importing the data en converted it into sas format file, can I delete those temp files without any problems?&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
