Not sure why you would want to copy EG projects / programs to your PC. The server is a much more secure environment for these types of files as usually they are backed up daily by IT support.

If you are wanting to manage different versions of your EG projects / programs a much better approach is to use a change control tool like GIT.

Hi!

Is there a way to save my eg project at start up by using autoexec? I would like to make a back up of my project. My programs are stored at a server and not on my physical pc. I would like to save my program on my physical pc. So, if I have a program P stored on server S, how can I at start up, save the program as P_copy on C:\? Can anyone help me?

There have been a few threads about connection from SAS server to local PC, do a search to get a few ideas.

basically, it's up to your IT/network/security department to set this up.

If you ask me, this is not a preferred way to do it.

A compromise could be if you have a synchronized directory on your PC with a server location, which is quite common setup on the major accounts I've been working with.

I agree about keeping a backup directory on a network drive. I use a tool called SyncToy. Note: use it at your own risk, but it works good for me.
