Sending email from SAS EG (ERROR: Email: The connection has timed out)

I have been having issues sending emails from SAS. I get the following error:

ERROR: Email: The connection has timed out.

one of my colleague who is using the email option does not have any issues... since i am using the same email host and options as him, i don;t think its the options issues..

\i also checked with my IT team to make sure that i have the firewall things figured out.. and there is no issue on that front..

at this point i am not quiet sure what is going on.. wanted to know if anyone else had the same issue and if they resolved it?

Have you tried having your coworker run the same project (modified for his connection as needed)?

Also, how big is the body, and attachments if any, of the email you send?
