OK. My next thought is on resources available when you have the project scheduled. I have occassionally had a project fail during scheduled execution due to files or databases being locked for maintenance in the middle of the night.

HI,

I have scheduled multiple projects in enterprise guide. Currently i am facing the issue that few enterprise guide projects are not executing. When i ran the same vbs script through cscript statement i was getting the logs. It was showing that connection was created. Then it deletes the temporary directories created and exits the program without running the project.

INFO SAS.EC.Directory.Model.Server [(null)] - Machine: *******
2016-04-13 14:15:29,058 [8] INFO SAS.EC.Directory.Model.Server [(null)] - LogicalName: SASApp
2016-04-13 14:15:29,058 [8] INFO SAS.EC.Directory.Model.Server [(null)] - IOM options: LOCALE=en-US
2016-04-13 14:15:29,058 [8] INFO SAS.EC.Directory.Model.Server [(null)] - LoginMode: Cache
2016-04-13 14:15:29,058 [8] INFO SAS.EC.Directory.Model.Server [(null)] - Login: Authdomain = DefaultAuth, User = ******

2016-04-13 14:15:30,930 [8] INFO SAS.EC.Directory.Model.Server [(null)] - Connection successful
2016-04-13 14:15:30,930 [8] INFO SAS.EC.Directory.Model.ServerState [(null)] - Server initialization started
2016-04-13 14:15:30,961 [1] DEBUG SAS.EC.Environment.CurrentApplication [(null)] - DeleteDirectoriesAndFiles() - removing C:\Users\idre044\AppData\Local\Temp\SEG9144

Regards,

Naveen

Turn on the project log. There may be something internal to the scheduled project that is causing the failure.

i have turned on application logging and not getting any error. tried running the project manually and it was executing without any issues. so it does not seem to be an issue with the project

the issue is that we are not getting any error. As far as i understand the task scheduler is calling EG and it is establishing a connection with the server, but nothing happens after that and the task finishes with success message
