Date 1st HAMP Trial Payment Rece

.

Here is an example of output when I import a .csv file into sas and then output it. If the value is a numeric or a date and the date is a null it assigns a period or dot.(hard to see here) I want the field to be blank and not show a dot when importing. The file type as an example here is Date/MMDDYY 10 so if there is a date it will something like this 10/15/2014. I am using the Import Data utility here.
