Hi,

Is there a way to apply user defined formats to exported fields inside a communication node in SAS Customer Intelligence Studio?

This comes from a need that we need to be able to output from a communication node different values depending on a value of a specific field.

Thank you

Hi Dan,

Its been a long time since I tried this, but my recollection is that this works fine. If you create a format and save it into a formats library that is referenced in the system option FMTSEARCH for the SAS Application server that is used by CI then you can use the format name in the Export definition, and when the export executes the format should resolve just fine.

Regards

James
