Hello,

we are trying to transfer Campaign, Definition etc. data from OLD SAS MA installation to new one. (CIStudio 6.5)

Everything works fine except importing folders of bussines context. Nearly all of the mends with the same error messsage:

Our campaign worker colleague made initial bussines context same as in old version. We tried with his account and another super account with all rights, result is still the same, since rights seem to be set right:

ERROR - The object "XXX" of type "Campaign communication definition" cannot be created because you do not have Read permission to the appropriate Business Context.

Thanks for your help!

Mike

Hi Mike,

Have you tried importing the CI objects one at a time? Maybe try importing the campaign definition first. Then, export, communication, stored process, etc.

Make sure that your information map in the new Business Context (6.5) has the same fields as the old one when importing the export definition. Also, all your look up tables (metadata) should be moved into the new environment (applicable if you use custom details in the campaign or communication definition).

Hope this works.

Regards,

JC

HI,
Also make sure that you have read and write permissions to the underlying folders in metadata that store the business context.
Regards
James
