Impossible to re-install SAS OLEDB connector on "Windows 7"

Hello,

About eight months ago, I donwloaded SAS OLEDB 32-bit connector ("sasoledbweb__94140__win__xx__web__1.zip") from SAS web site, installed it and used it with "Import wizard" of "MS SQL Server Management Studio 2014" without any problem.

That's the only SAS product I've installed.

A few days ago, I've discovered that SAS OLEDB 32-bit connector has vanished in the list of avaible connectors in the wizard like if it was uninstalled (that is is NOT the case).

But I can't see it in "Add/remove programs" !?!

I tried to reinstall it but setup fails: it ends without any error message on screen.

setup.log says many files are missing :

...that is true, when I look at files manager, securejava__94120__prt__xx__sp0__1 folder is actually missing.

I've downloaded again "sasoledbweb__94140__win__xx__web__1.zip" to get a clean archive but I've the same problem.

This problem makes me crazy !

What could I do to solve the problem.

I can send you other log files if you need, just tell me the names.

Hello @Steve92,

do you have any antivirus or security software running? Perhaps you could give a look into its logs, maybe that guy is the responsible of those misterious hapenings.

In other hand, if you cannot get a possitive answer from here, please do not hesitate to contact SAS Technical Support.
