Hello ,

I start metadata server at computer A, now I want use SAS Information Map Studio from Computer B(need to connect metadata server at computer A),

After I opened SAS Information Map Studio at computer B,How to fill the Machine area in computer B? (if computer name of A is "COMPUTER_A_SERVER")

Machine:?????????

Port: 8561

User ID:****

Password:****

Machine : COMPUTER_A_SERVER

Port: 8561

User ID:****

Password:****

Add the host entries in the host file located at C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc

xxx.x.x.x COMPUTER_A_SERVER

Is that possible if there were many computers' their name are all called "COMPUTER_A_SERVER":(same as computer A)

If this happen How the computer B can recognize the server on computer A?

You can directly give the IP address of the server.
