Hi , We have recently installed and configured sas va 7.3 distributed environment with HPA. We are not able to start services and get below error....

Make sure Passwordless SSH is setup for the ID, used to start LASR.

Add the below commands to sasenv_local file on VA server:

export GRIDHOST="VA_hostname"

export GRIDINSTALLLOC="opt/sas/TKGrid"

export GRIDRSHCOMMAND="/opt/sas/TKGrid/bin/ssh.sh"

And you have updated the gridhosts file/list.

Did you checked that your LASR nodes are healthy and working OK?
