SAS 9.4 can be installed on Windows 10, so you likely won't have any issues installing it.

It will also depend on the data you're using and how much RAM and processing power you have. Things may just take longer than if you were working on a laptop or desktop. If you're dealing with homework you're unlikely to run out of space. If you plan to process bigger files you'll run out of space quickly since tablets typically don't have a ton of memory available.

Desktop Systems Examples are Windows 7 and Windows 8.

 a minimum of 2 cores

 2 GB RAM (available to SAS)

 Swap space: 1.5 times physical RAM or 250 GB, whichever is less

Are you talking about a full SAS installation?

If your work has a server, I would consider a SAS Studio or EG installation. This way EG or Studio connects to a server and your Surface isn't processing the information.

If you're considering SAS UE, I would recommend one of the cloud solutions, either using it on AWS or Academics on Demand.

yes...full installation...it's regular SAS 9.4 as it is available at my university for a discounted price for students.
