Hi All

Does the SAS 9.2 works well on Windows 8 Environment?

If it doesnt what kind of errors we get,

I have windows 8 in my desktop,I want to know Doesit work well without errors.

Please provide your input.

SAS 9.2 Foundation is supported on the following 32-bit and x64 editions of the Windows Server 2008 family with SAS 9.2 TS Level 2M2 and higher:

Microsoft® Windows® Server 2008 Standard Edition

Microsoft® Windows® Server 2008 Enterprise Edition

Microsoft® Windows® Server 2008 Datacenter Edition

SAS 9.2 Foundation is supported on the following 32‐bit and x64 editions of the Windows Server 2008 R2 family with SAS 9.2 TS Level 2M3 and higher:

Microsoft® Windows® Server 2008 R2 Standard Edition

Microsoft® Windows® Server 2008 R2 Enterprise Edition

Microsoft® Windows® Server 2008 R2 Datacenter Edition

the best link is: SAS Supported Operating Systems fill in 9.2 window select all.

Windows 8 (desktop) is not supported. Windows 7 en Xp are supported

Windows 2012 (server) is not supported, W-2008 (7) and W-2003 (XP) are supported.

The desktop and server side versions with Windows have confusing names in this report.

Client support is different. (more notes on Windows 8 on support to search on your own)

And 9.4 is available supported, but not all Windows 8 versions.
