SAS Data Loader Installation Options

Hello everyone,

i am confused about the installation options i have for the SAS Data Loader.

Is there a pdf or guide where i can find a step by step installation if i dont have any software from SAS, but my goal is to get the SAS Data Loader working to interact with an Hadoop Cluster? And do some analysis ON the Hadoop Cluster?

Do i need additional the SAS in Database technology? Is it in the Data Loader vApp already includet?

What is about the SAS/ACCESS Software? Do i need that too?

In-database: as it sounds, it sits within the target database. So it needs some post install/config steps. It's covered in the Hadoop admin docs.

Hi,

Data Loader is available with a 45 day trial.

It does require the following SAS products:

SAS/ACCESS® Interface to Hadoop, SAS In-Database Code Accelerator for Hadoop and SAS Data Quality Accelerator for Hadoop

Thank you for the fast answer.

If i want to make some advanced/predictive analytics with the data on my cluster.

Am i able to do this with the SAS Data Loader or is therefor the SAS Visual Statistics/SAS In-Memory Statistics for Hadoop?

If so what are the requirements for this?
