Hi,

If I understand it correctly, EGO is part of Platform Suite for SAS that is included with the SAS Grid Manager and installed as part of the LSF installation process, which means, if Grid Manager and Platform Suite is already installed, there should be no further steps necessary.

See http://support.sas.com/documentation/cdl/en/gridref/67371/HTML/default/viewer.htm#p1fkerurbxip7an13iiwosyn90jl.htm

for further details.

This might help further

Thanks Anjya. Appreciate your response.

I have SAS9.3 grid .when I compared the directories. /sasbin/SASHOME/lsf/conf/ego/cluster/eservices/esc/conf/services.

in sas 9.3 I see xml files for all sas servers cush as objspawn.xml metadata server.xml etc...etc....

in sas 9.4 i see only xmls such as named.xml res.xml sbatchd xm. weg.xml. they are all lsf services.

SAS metadat server and SAS application server installation is done.

I'm going through instructions.html to compelte instructions.

How do I get the sas services in EGO/egosh?

I'll also go thru the links you sent.

Thanks Again.
