Create SAS 9.3 TEST system

I would like to create a TEST system (AIX 7.1 - SAS 9.3) from a restore from a PROD system.

Is this a supported method of 'installing' SAS 9.3?

If supported, what are the steps to re-configure the SAS TEST server (new hostname/ip , different location) following the SASHOME directory restore (from PROD server).

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
