IS a 10 to 15 minute lag before web apps come up - normal SAS 9.4m2

Greetings all,

Sometimes when I restart my server the webapps take about 10 to 15 minutes before they come active. I first thought that I had broken something but they do go active. Is this SOP?

If not what should I check for

This is a known issue. In our environment it takes more like 30-40 minutes. It is addressed in SAS 9.4M3 which has just been released:

Starting with the third maintenance release for SAS 9.4, SAS has made changes that are expected
to result in a 40% to 50% decrease in start-up time for SAS Web Application
Server.
