SAS 9.4 installation failure

Hi,

I tried to install 9.4 today (new machine, windows 11) and the installation was stuck at the "SAS Deployment Manager" stage in the SAS Deployment Wizard. I've attached the deployment log. Can someone let me know what the issue is?

Looks like a Java error. What maintenance level of SAS 9.4 are you installing? If you are not on the latest maintenance level M8 then I would be tempted to request the latest from SAS and try that.

Thank you for the feedback. I need to do a fresh install on a new Win11 laptop. I asked my group and the admin said we have to stay on M4(?).

Please be aware that SAS 9.4 M4 is under Limited Support.

I communicated with my lead and he said we have to stay at M4 and not move to the newest version since SAS dropped the ODS Graphics Designer (under the Tools menu).

Is there a way to get the install running on my machine though?

I would recommend opening a case with SAS Technical Support.

It will tell you

Support Status: Windows 11

SAS® 9.4 TS1M7 and higher is supported on Windows 11. For browser support, refer to Third-Party Software Requirements.
