Could creating a symbolic link be a workaround ?

On Linux typically this how we get around such issue, maybe you can do the same on Windows!?

Hi All,

We installed latest version of SAS Content Assessment (2024.02) on the client's Windows environment, all applications executed successfully on metadata server.

Getting an error for "SAS 9 Application Usage" in Workspace server while assessing ObjectSpawner logs.

Error - Specified log config directory does not appear to contain accessible Object Spawner logconfig.xml file.

We observed that folder name for Object Spawner is renamed in the environment.

Does this impact execution of SAS 9 Application usage?

Please assist in resolving this error so that we can execute SAS 9 Application usage exe successfully.

Thanks in advance!

The command does use what is in the setenv.yaml. When you specify the commandline option for the config location instead and leave the config dir value blank in the setenv.yaml file then it will produce the error seen here. It also will produce that error if the user has no access to the ObjectSpawner directory. To make it work you have to make sure the correct directories are specified in the setenv.yaml file and the metaparms.sas file contained correct values.
