In a typical DR environment, the DR environment will be a replica of the existing environment.
Only what is needed to bring up the environment and show essential functionality is copied over and not everything.

During the DR process the necessary infrastructure is restored and functionality tested.

During the DR process nothing from outside can be copied. It is a sort of isolated environment.
I do not know about Visual investigator and cannot say specifically about it.

But the general principle is that the necessary requirements to show essential functionality are only needed.

Hi,

Reading the documents on restoring Viya 3.5 on an alternate deployment as a preparation for a DR exercise. https://documentation.sas.com/doc/en/calcdc/3.5/calbr/p0lz0xslocbb9sn16w5uasdnco4g.htm

We have Visual Investigator 10.7, After performing the steps on the document, do we still have to manually copy over elasticsearch repository from Prod to DR?

Thanks in advance
