SAS password expiring soon emails - receiving them very frequently (like every month)

Hello!

Not sure this is the right place to ask, but I am getting "SAS password expiring soon" emails very frequently, like every month! (Password to sas.com). Is it general policy of SAS? Or can I control it? How can I change this? Can I change passwords not so frequently?

If you're referring to your SAS Profile (same ID that you use to log into here), I don't believe there is such a policy to expire the passwords frequently. However, if your profile is also used to access SAS Cloud hosting services, there may be more strict policies related to account security. If that is the case, the question is best taken up with SAS Cloud support.

Yes, I meant SAS Profile, sorry. Here is the message I keep getting approx. every month: "Please be aware that your SAS Profile password will expire in ... days".

I have had the same password for years.
