URGENT : SAS METADATA CONFIGURATION SERVER FAILED TO BUILD

Hi Everyone,

i would like to install SAS 9.4 M8 on Windows Server 2019.

Installation was finished without any issues.

BUT configuration failed on the Metadata Server Step. The wizzard was not able to start the metadata server , and i am getting the following error message :

I checked all system requirements and they're all good

For more clues, check the metadata server log at <sas-config-dir>\Lev1\SASMeta\MetadataServer\Logs

I did and this is what I found on one of the lines :

internal error: class id a1 has been assigned to more than one class.

I tried to look for it but I couldn't find anything on the internet. Can you please tell me what does that mean ?

That's not enough information. Send the configuration and metadata server logs to SAS Technical Support.

As others have recommended, please open a TS track for this question.

Please include the following:
- SAS Version you are running (the following code will report SAS version information)

%put &syssite ;
- Registry Report (*.txt files) for each server, please clearly name the report files to reflect the server it was executed on.
- Detailed description of the issue you are encountering
- Any supporting log files containing errors
