If you're an admin then it might eventually be worth to investigate how you can get access to the AWS tools.

If you're not an admin then I suppose you might not have the necessary permissions for such tasks. You could try the normal Windows Performance Monitor - but I believe this would only allow you to collect statistics going forward.

Dear Friends,

I have been tasked with finding the CPU Utilization of our SAS Windows Servers hosted on AWS. We basically access it through JumpBox as usual and I am not having environment manager installed.

Please can you help me to find a way or code to get the CPU Utilization retrospectively or at least current state which I can record over a month.

We do have process explorer, but I am not sure if I can use it and how to record the utilization for the day.

Any pointers or code to capture it will be helpful

Best Regards

Never used it but might be worth looking into Amazon CloudWatch

If I read this right then it should already be collecting metrics that you can report on.

Thanks Patrick, but I am not able to access the cloud watch with my existing credentials. Not sure if my account needs to be added to AWS service. I just access Jumpbox and I do not have any AWS access as such.
