Installing SAS GRID on RHEL Environment

HI all ,

I am trying to create the test environment for our existing SAS grid Production .

what are the steps to install SAS GRID environment with following details :-

SAS Meta and SAS Mid on one RHEL server

and GRID manager and other nodes on other RHEL Server.

How prepare plan.xml file and how to create installation image ? Is there anything I can use from existing SAS grid Production?

SAS would supply the plan file for a grid deployment, so if you can't use your existing plan file you will need to contact SAS to get one.

With a grid environment the SAS installation and configuration directories are typically shared among the grid nodes, so installation/configuration only needs to occur once for your compute tier. The middle tier done after compute, so you'd install/configure metadata, then compute, then mid-tier.
