What is the "SAS Integration Technologies Client for Windows" that you are using?
If you are moving your server component to cloud consider using SAS Studio.

About OLEDB it is a windows technology and if one wants to use on Linux, may have to consider mono.
In any case it is SAS Tech Support that can give you the appropriate advice.

Hello,

We are currently using the "SAS Integration Technologies Client for Windows" on our Windows application server to communicate with a SAS 9.3 server and we're also using the "SAS Providers for OLE DB". We would like to migrate our application to EKS (linux nodes) in the near future without waiting for the migration from SAS 9.3 to VIYA (which takes a lot of time). Which clients will we need to do this when we are on Linux nodes?

Thank you for your help

Roughly here's how it works for now :

1- App on a Windows Server makes calls to a web service on a SAS Server (this is why we're using the "SAS Integration Technologies Client for Windows", otherwise Windows won't be able to communicate with SAS Server)

2- SAS Server makes some calculations and then return a dataset to the app (This is why we're using the "SAS Providers for OLE DB", otherwise it won't understand the Dataset.)

SAS Server is a SAS 9.3.

The idea is to redesign the app (it's growing fastly and we need to leverage the microservice concepts) and migrate to containers on EKS (using Linux Nodes. Windows Nodes are out of scope). The problem is the 2 SAS Clients that need to be installed on a windows environment ! I'm stuck !

PS : SAS 9.3 is not being migrated for now. The only latitude we have is at the application level where we can change things. This is not possible at the SAS level for the moment for licensing reasons and administrative red tape on our side

This is a very rare use case so I think you are unlikely to find anyone on the Community with experience of this. SAS Tech Support is your best bet. BTW, any change of OS will require a re-install. SAS 9.3 is ancient and drops to limited support from 1 Jan 2023 - see here for details. Installing on much later OSs and / or containers is likely to be problematic.

IMHO, you would be better off just leaving your SAS 9.3 installation as is and spend your effort on moving to Viya. You really aren't gaining much by trying to move it to newer hardware / OS when you are about to lose full support anyway.
