Problem with loading a table in SAS Data Integration Studio

Hello dear Community,

we have two SAS environments (test and prod). If I want to open tables via SAS Data Integration Studio, then I get the following error message on the productive environment:

com.sas.workspace.WsAppServerFailException

We don't have this problem on the test environment, we can open the tables.

I have restarted the services, unfortunately that didn't work.

Does anyone have an idea what is causing this problem?

From the error it sounds like the problem is with getting a workspace server. Are you able to validate the workspace server successfully in the prod environment?

Do the other servers validate successfully (pooled workspace server, stored process server)?

When I want to validate the Logical Workspace Server, the validation takes a long time. I've been waiting for the validation results for over 10 minutes. Is it normal that the validation takes so long? For the other servers the validation result is displayed immediately.

The default configuration should cause the validation to fail with a timeout if it takes more than 60 seconds. You may wish to engage technical support so we can examine your Object Spawner logs to determine why it is taking so long.
