&lt;P&gt;Hi All,&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I am getting below error when I try to open SASApp from SAS EG. Any suggestions.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>Timeout errors typically are the result of a firewall dropping the packets between the client (Enterprise Guide) and the server.</description>

      <description>That is part of the ephemeral port range, so it is not service specific but what you'd get if you asked the operating system to give you an unused port to use. Typically firewall rules are formulated to permit the ephemeral port range inbound traffic for established connections (i.e. only outbound can ephemeral ports be used without restriction).       <description>An error in the workspace server log (presumably running on compute.dev.com) saying it can't connect to compute.dev.com with a connection timeout is strange, as I wouldn't expect anything to drop packets if they aren't leaving the host. You may want open a track with SAS Technical Support.</description>
