There is an OOMScoreAdjust option for services that can be used to discourage or disable OOMKiller for certain processes. As this could prevent OOMKiller from killing a given service when it is the problem, I wouldn't recommend it.

Hi all,

I have a situation where oom killer is being invoked and killing processes on my configuration server.

We have increased the resources on the server.

Is there a way to prevent the oom killer from killing any SAS processes on the RHEL server.

Any help or guidance much appreciated!

Thank you for the feedback.

It was decided to increase the resources.
