/opt/sas/viya/config/var/spool/compsrv/default growing large. Can we delete the files from here?

Hi all,

at the one site the files in this directory are growing over 81 GB in size.

/opt/sas/viya/config/var/spool/compsrv/default

Any idea of the use case for these files?

Can we clear them?

Any help or info appreciated.

These directories are for SAS sessions, I suspect ones from 2020 and 2021 are no longer valid. Are there any recent ones? Does it seem to be specific users?

Based on this SAS Note it looks like tklauncher normally removes them, so maybe it 's the permissions issue described in the note:
